With the shortlist for this year’s Construction Marketing Awards now revealed, Manchester-based B2B marketing agency SLG Marketing is delighted to see its name featured in no less than eight separate categories – more than any other agency. This would be a significant achievement at any time, but it’s all the more impressive as this year’s competition received more entries than ever before.The Construction Marketing Awards are recognised as the key indicator of outstanding performance in the sector. “As a specialist in construction marketing we would always hope to be shortlisted, whether on the basis of work we have done for our clients or for ourselves”, comments joint managing director Mark Gill. “This year it’s especially pleasing to have been shortlisted for both types of work, especially in the face of such strong competition.”
Among the clients with which SLG has been shortlisted alongside are Polypipe Terrain, Kohler Mira and Innovare Systems. The agency itself has been shortlisted in the Best use of Direct Marketing and Agency of the Year categories.
“We’re obviously hoping that all the shortlisted entries are ultimately successful”, adds Mark. “We know from our experience in winning the Agency of the Year category in the same awards in 2008 that this can bring enormous recognition and so this year we’d like to achieve that for each of our clients and for ourselves.”
