
Construction specialist SLG Marketing has added to its PR division following a number of new client wins. Tom Lay has been recruited to join the PR team, having just graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a first class honours degree in Public Relations.
“Tom is a great addition to our team and I’m delighted that he chose to join us”, comments PR Director David Dailey. “We were impressed with the extra-curricular work that Tom did whilst at University and it’s good to be able to bring in a new starter who already has some solid experience to their credit.”
While at University, Tom worked independently for a range of small businesses and organisations, handling PR campaigns at both a local and national level. He also earned a first class mark for his final year dissertation, which focussed on seeding content in a digital environment.
Tom said: “Having experienced delivering PR for both B2C and B2B sectors, I knew when I graduated that I wanted to work in a B2B agency environment. SLG Marketing has offered me the opportunity to really challenge myself in terms of thinking creatively for what some may consider a niche market. With an interest in social media, I’m looking forward to helping the PR division grow further and continue to deliver excellent results for its clients.”
