SLG Marketing Announces Changes to its Board of Directors
SLG Marketing, the Manchester-based specialist B2B marketing communications agency has announced changes to its Board of Directors. Client Services Director, Julie Malone, and Marketing Services Director, Mark Gill, have become Joint Managing Directors in a move which sees founding directors, Ken Malone and Tony Hackett step aside to focus on the financial and creative elements of the business.

Celebrating its 30th year in 2010, the agency has become a leading integrated marketing communications specialist to the construction and B2B sectors. The Board changes reflect SLG’s ongoing commitment to the development of the agency, its staff and the strategic marketing, creative, online and PR services offered to clients.

Julie Malone, Joint Managing Director comments: “We’ve established a strong reputation for really understanding our clients’ businesses and the markets they operate in. This enables us to develop fresh and creative marketing communications that deliver real value to our clients. We’re very proud of the service we provide and many of our clients have been with us for a number of years. This change is a clear sign that the agency is moving forwards, supported by the experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated team we have within the business.”

Having joined SLG in 2005, Mark is excited by the challenges brought by his new role. “We’re very proud of the position we have as construction marketing specialists, but we now have an opportunity to improve and develop the market-leading range of services that we offer. We’ve remained stable throughout the challenging market conditions of the past 18 months and we feel positive about the recovery and subsequent growth of the B2B marketing industry. By continuing to produce market-leading campaigns and attracting the best B2B marketing talent we believe we can offer a valued service to clients.”
