Claire LyallSLG is pleased to announce it has recruited Claire Lyall as its new Business Development Manager. Claire joins SLG from GyroHSR, where she spent two and a half years steering the agency’s new business effort and building the client portfolio at its Manchester offices.

In her new role, she’ll be heading up new business strategy, leading pitches and helping to develop SLG’s presence across a wider range of market sectors. With a self-confessed passion for B2B marketing, Claire was attracted by SLG’s track record and its plans for the future:

“Having spoken to Julie Malone and Mark Gill about their vision for the company, I knew I wanted be part of it. This is an exciting time to be joining an agency with real ambition and represents a great opportunity for me to work alongside a talented and vibrant team.”

Claire is no stranger to the demands of the new business role, adding:
“It’s one of the most challenging jobs in agency life. In the construction industry especially, there are some incredibly complex issues that have to be understood and articulated, but using the creative process to distil those complexities into simple, immediate messages to win over new clients is something SLG is very, very good at.”

“The B2B sector is holding up despite the economic uncertainty, with many companies looking to either protect their market share or take advantage of new opportunities. Our integrated approach and in-depth sector knowledge makes us well placed to deliver the strategic and creative campaigns that set the standard for the entire industry.”
